INVITATION TO EXHIBIT

The Rockville Consortium for Science invites you to bring a hands-on exhibit to the nineteenth Rockville Science Day that will be held at Montgomery College’s Rockville Campus on the above date. Individuals are welcome to exhibit independently of an organization.

This year we are emphasizing science and technology literacy in our daily lives. We would like your exhibit to make visitors realize that understanding science and technology is extremely important for all of us – not just the scientists and experts.  Our futures are tied to successes in science and technology.

We recommend that you involve the audience as much as possible as this produces the most effective results. Allow visitors to use scientific instruments, computers, handle specimens or technological products. We suggest that you bring at least two knowledgeable people to answer questions. We request that those of you who have participated before develop a different exhibit, if possible. If you are planning to provide hand outs, be advised that last year we had over 2000 visitors but, as most people come as families, you may need fewer pieces.
